I am a passionate musician dedicated to spreading my love for music and the piano.  I have years of classical training, as well as a popular and gospel background from playing in bands and churches.  I encourage musical exploration and discovery alongside traditional approaches to the piano.  My goal is to maximize both the depth and joy that comes with learning music.  I also have a bachelor’s degree in composition from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in composition from Mills College, so I enjoy working with anyone interested in learning to compose, developing their own compositions or learning Finale notation software.
